If it is any comfort to you, there are more men than are advertised who write romances, so gender is not a predicter of success in a genre.
As for Ruth Rendell, I applaud anyone who is still active at 75. But I'm closer to her age than you are.
Site looks good. It would be nice to comment on your newsletter without having to sign up for Blogger. I think I belonged at one point, but I've long since forgotten my password.
You've obviously put a lot a thought and work into the website. It will be interesting to see how it evolves.
I think I will resist the temptation to refer to you as "Heidi Lynn." :)

Thanks for the visit and the feedback, Dialyn. You are so right about age, and of course my comments about Ruth were only tongue and cheek. I admire her greatly. Whenever I am feeling old, I remind myself that Earl Stanley Gardner was the best selling mystery writer of all time, and he was a year older than I am when he sold his first novel. And then there's Agatha Christie. Incredible!
Hi; The site looks good. I like the way you put intros to your work there. Love that part about S. K...LOL. I cut my reading teeth (so to speak) on E.S.G's Perry Mason novels, as well as Donald Lam/Bertha Cool series. That man could write!
Let me introduce you to my multiple personalities. :)

I revamped my site to promote my writing instead of my art. It is still a site under construction, so any suggestions for improvement are greatly appreciated. Thanks, HL
