One of these flew right over my head and my house the other day. I ran inside to get my cam but it was gone when I got back outside. Luckily, another one was passing by some distance away, so I at least got this capture. I'm guessing it is a B-17 Flying Fortress, can anyone confirm that? I used to love the idea of this plane as a young boy, so actually seeing one in "action" and so randomly was quite a thrill. I have no idea why they flew overhead...I can only guess that they recently escaped the Bermuda Triangle and somehow found themselves near my house. ;]

This plane flew by minutes later...but I'm guessing it is a more modern craft, a Cesna perhaps?

Thanks Valou. =] Then, about 10 minutes later, these two birds streaked by. I just had time to lift my camera and snap it while panning so the quality is pretty bad, but it completes my day of "aerial" photography. I think they were either Anhingas of Muscogee ducks.

Looks like you captured a B-17 and a Cessna, just as you thought.
