I am looking to buy a set of IBL lights with Ambient Occlusion for Poser 6. Does any one have recommendations?

Go to RDNA and pick up some of Traveller's stuff. He's the best for lights.

I believe that HMann has some very nice ones here at RMP as well. Cheers DR

Hunh? Poser6 comes with a set of probes, which you can engage with or without AO. Did you try them? ::::: Opera :::::

You can do your own by following this tutorial. It's pretty easy to follow.

There's also a tutorial by Olivier at RDNA with templates for making your own without photos, it's listed on the frontpage, Poser 6 IBL Ins and Outs is what you need to look for :D It only takes a few minutes to set up & once saved to the library can be altered in seconds to have any colours you want.

The best ones I've come across when I was using AO in P6 were the ones made by Catharina Harding at mec4d.com. She set them up beautifully to work right "out of the box" in most situations, but they didn't take advantage of AO as a material node, they used AO on the diffuse IBL. Still, excellent IBL/AO light sets.

I'm having problems with Mec4D. I puchanse one of their light sets, but the download link was broken. I emailed about this, but so far (as of a month) they haven't responded. Suffice to say, buy at your own risk.

That's too bad :( I hope she recovers soon.

Good news. I emailed her again and she got everthing straightened out. I didn't ask her directly about the fire, but I hope this is a good sign :)
