I played around a little with it, hope you dont mind. But i thought you could enhance the textures and colors some. I also cropped it to get that nail off-centered. Beautiful viwion of depth btw.

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Nice macro! I like how Andreas cropped this, but felt this image looked better with the colors a bit more muted. I recroped it too and did some averaging to bring out more detail, used shadow/highlight to adjust the midrange contrast and brighten the center, and darkened around the edges a bit. If you have a larger version of the image I would move the crop to the left and down a little bit, and zoom in a bit more. Just my 2.

I'm sure there are much better ways, and you probably shouldn't listen to me,lol, but first you should duplicate your pic. Then go to the 'image' drop down menu, pick 'adjustments',then hue/saturation...Play with those sliders and you'll see different color changes occur.

When you find something you like, click 'okay'.

That's the easiest way I know.Have fun and good luck.-M :^)

Attached Link: color adjustment

What program do you use? In Adobe Photoshop the simplest way is to go to Image - Adjustment - Hue/Saturation and adjust the settings there. There are of course many other ways as well. Ahh, I see Marlene beat me to the response...that is what I get for stepping away from my computer for a few minutes. ;]
