If I've understood, what you need here is for the mapping of each square to be consistent, so you can apply the same (or similar) textures to each one and have them line up? If you apply a planar map to each one, as you already have, then in UVMapper type Ctrl-A to select all, and hit equals (=) to maximise the selection. Your UV coordinates should them run from 0 to 1 in both axes. Chances are you don't want the map to go right to the edges though, so hit the keypad - key to reduce it. The thing is to do this consistently, so if you hit - 5 times on one to get the border you want, hit - 5 times on all the squares. Hope that helps.
Sorry I was very, very tired. I like each square to be consistent 1024x1024. Wife, Kids, phone and work. They are not a problem. Well the job is a problem. It is, "Life" I call it.
This is a complicated process I am trying to explain. Which isn't easy, and fustrating. The help is lacking here, which I am not trying to push. Losing time, and boredom. Last night I had a big headache on this. Then had to go to work fustrated.
On th Runway I like each square to have its own texture "1024x1024". Their is 41 Squares. When I apply textures below or above it. They will line up. I like to use "Exclude Hidden Facets" for each. And each square has a material name.
How can I do this.
