I dont no, I think it would be interesting to see it done with textures. At the moment it looks like a very old invention you might see in the lab of Tesla or some one; I think I get this impression from the B+W. Dont get me wrong, I think it looks cool like this, I just think it would be interesting to see it textured. Built in Wings, rendered in C4D and posted in the Bryce forum lol. Nice work all the same Robert, keep it up! Michael:)
I never intended to make art.
Heresy!

...and why is there a little girl hiding in the box at centre-right at the back?

Thanks, everone. =) pumeco-- Actually, the glow effect came from Paint Shop Pro. I'm not terribly comfortable with Cinema4D yet (although I'm already in awe of its abilities, can't wait to tackle Maya sometime either next semester or the following semester hopefully). Erlik-- Hmm, copper isn't exactly what I had in mind for this image. Interesting idea, though... Cyba_Storm-- I must very respectfully disagree. Although perhaps this image could stand alone as is, I've got a much different look in mind. =) -------------- I'm a little afraid that Bryster is going to burn me at the stake. =) Er... the little girl is... um... a ghost, yeah, that's it. She's very, um, intentional. Yeah... I'm hoping that sometime in the near future I'll be proficient enough with C4D to create a character model to go along with this. Maybe at that time I will be more equipped to finish this off.

I'm not sure if I'm going to finish this due to time constraints (between learning school and C4D); maybe once I get more proficient with Cinema I'll go ahead and texture it and finish. Nevertheless, any C&C would be highly appreciated as I start going for more complex scenes.
Thanks!
