Hi Everyone This is the update on the 3DModelworld site. As it stands now, it looks like I will stay the same free site. The site is working now with a warning Popup. And I hope that People that use Accelerators, and website Strippers will stop so everyone will be able to get all of the the nice models, that people send. Other wise we will be forced to follow in our Poserworld's footstep's. It is all a matter of Bandwith. With over a Million Hits to my site each month. It is getting really crowded. And it is costing alot of money a month to keep the site going. With no money coming in to pay for a couple of T1 lines, something has to give. You can't believe how mad people get when they can't get on the site because it is so slow. But no one seems to mind that we are putting out all of this money so they can have a free model. So please just have a little patience and 3DModelworld, will continue to stay just as it is. The site is working pretty fast again. Hi Lannie, Just wanted to let you know, that I am very pleased to hear that your site will remain "free". I am very new to "Poser" and just discovering all the wonderful sites that contain "Poser" stuff, and I was quite disappointed to learn that "PoserWorld" will now be requesting paid memberships. I can understand why.......but it is disappointing non the less. It was thru Steve's site I discovered yours, and after seeing the "free" models on your page, I went straight to the "artists" page , Wayne Grindberg, and ordered both his CD's. It is thru "free" sites like yours, that people like me learn of new products available for their favorite programs, in this case "Poser". To be quite honest, I don't mind paying for a membership, but if all of you guys decide to go this route, someone out there is going to lose.......the average person, like my-self can only afford to join maybe one or two a year.....what will become of the rest? Thanks Lannie - as a housewife who can't model - I really appreciate people who let me use their models for free and I hope that I can pay you all back someday when I finally have the time to learn how to model! Thanks again for all your hard work. Jade
