I've never tried out this technique by myself, but above is link to a tut that has some good pointers. And more tutorials in paiting hair and fur can be found at: [Fignations of Imaginment](http://www.fignations.com/jelisa/tutorials/fur_and_hair.html)~asbesti
it raises the issue of how to deal with the fact one may have breached whatever copyright pertains to the original image, especially in the absence of any model release or written permission to photomanipulate an image one has downloaded from a newsgroup or website. however, there is an small industry related to this (called celeb fakes), with its own newsgroup (in the alt.binaries hierarchy) and its own set of websites (all porno, hence I can't post a link. one guy (nick = lux luthor) even went so far as to create what he calls the "fake university", where one can get tips on how to do these photomanips to the point where they're no longer detectable. hence the creation of another site, the "fake detective", where a guy in support of celebrities' rights goes to great lengths to show how one can spot these photomanips.

Hi all, I've posted this in the Photoshop section but figure posting it here might get me a better response. I would like to create a poser image (single figure) and place it into a photograph I have so that only the poser figure and the hair from the photograph remains. Does anyone here know how to do this and can spare the time to give me the details of how this is done. Or, failing that tell me where I might find/purchase a tutorial on the subject. Your help is very much appreciated. Dannii.
