The two techniques are really different. In the cloth room, an actual 3D object (which has to have been created beforehand, either by you or by someone else) is simulated so that it drapes realistically around the figure. It isn't a method of creating cloth from scratch. Cloth painting in postwork, if you have the skill to do it, enables you to create anything you can imagine; but it is a skill, and one that can take some time to acquire.

Ok i ma trying (and in vain!!!!!)to creat cloth be it painted or made in the cloth room. My thought and from what i have seen it is done in photoshop but alot of peeps are telling to use the cloth room,wich i have never done. So i ask you, wich is better in the long run for a better result?Painting in photoshop or using clothroom? if you say cloth room please point me in the direction ot get started at trying it. Thanx for your help in advance. Rodney.
