Subject: Looking for "Tetujin" Poser figure

During my recent poser related surfing, I found this pic:

That robot guy looks pretty cool to me, so I'm wondering: can anyone tell me where he's from? Whether or not he's free? Etc. etc. ;-)

Just looking for info on him :-)

Tetsujin28 is a Japanese cartoon robot that fought bad robots etc. I remember him from when I was a little kid living in Japan. In 2005 they made a live action movie of him. I haven't seen it but the trailer is available at the above link. It's in Japanese but you can tell what's going on. (requires QuickTime). More info on the movie can be found here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0371310/ You can google "tetsujin" for more info. I have no idea about the Poser figure though.

Thanks for the links, Bobasaur. 'S good to know those origins...Fun esspecially ;-) Now I hope someone can shed some light on the Poser figure :-) I want to set up a boxing match 'tween him and the Freak :-D
