Subject: Help! - Where's The Texture?

I've got the free version of Victoria3.

I'm using her in Poser5, but I can't find the texture for her. The installer hasn't installed it anywhere from what I can tell. Poses and morphs are there, but not the texture :-/

Does the free Victoria3 even come with a texture? and if so, where can I find it?

I don't use Poser much, so I reckon that's a good enough excuse for not knowing this :-)

IIRC, (the free version) V3 doesn't come with textures (I may be wrong - I bought V3 not long after she came out). But if you do a search in free-stuf (be prepared for a wait), there are several textures in there (I think). Alternatively, buy the Universal Texture Converter from DAZ (it's not all that expensive). UTC (without any add-ons) can convert V2 (and thus any Judy) textures to V3 textures... So you can then download any free V2 texture (of which there are lots) and convert them for V3...:-)) Cheers, Diolma

To be fair, I don't really want the texture for it's texture - I only want it for it's mapping so I can create my own texture on it; I want to be able to load it into BodyPaint and create my own, without having to create the mapping from the ground up.

I always thought Victoria3 came with a basic default texture though, so I hope you're wrong, if you're not, it'll be freebies first!

Textures are found in the Poses folder in your library. EDIT: If you want templates, do a search in Free Stuff here for SnowSultan. He has many templates for texturing.

I've looked in the Poses folder, and the only thing I can find in connection with textures are those pose files that apply different colours to the various body parts.

I can't find any actual 'texture' bitmap files though.

No textures are included with the free V3 base. But you can download texture templates free, from DAZ. They are on the product page - scroll down.

you want to get SnowSultans seamguides in freestuff here. Nice big colorcoded templates with areas marked so you can get the navel in the right place and so forth :)
