Subject: P6 hack for multi-use pose files

I just happened to be passing by here right after I'd finished editing a bunch of P6 pose files. I have no idea if this is common knowledge or not. It probably is, but I'll post it anyway. To make a pose file apply to any figure or unparented prop in P6, relace the normal actor or BODY line with 'actor $CURRENT' Like so. { version { number 4.01 } actor $CURRENT { channels etc, etc. It will now apply to anyfigure/object in the scene. mac

"actor $CURRENT" also works in P5, but there must be a figure pressent in the scene before you can apply a pose to a prop or other item, I suspect this will be the case in P6 as well.

Quite right, les. I realised after I'd already gone offline that I'd forgotten to add that info. mac
