It appears that SciFi3D got sucked up by TheForce and is no longer providing free downloads--or at least not that I can find by going through menus. It was great while it lasted and I got a lot of cool Star Wars items.

Click under genres...that's where the freebies are :)

I click that link and it goes nowhere.

The site worked fine for me a few minutes ago (I downloaded an object).

What URL are you using? http://www.scifi3d.com still times out on me with an HTTP 500 error. The older URL I used, to get to the What's New page at scifi3d, now gets redirected to The Force site that I linked above and I can't find a way to get back to the original link.

I use the http://scifi3d.theforce.net/ URL.

I get this message when I go. Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '80004005' Timeout expired /Default.asp, line 56 But I got that message before I went to the site and it worked ok, so it is probably just a temporary problem.

The site is working ok again, it looks like it might have been offline for repairs.

I got in today, too. When I made my first post, typing in the address redirected me to TheForce with no links to get back to the 3D site that I could find. I'm glad they've got their own page back.
