Yes that's right folks I will be holdinf a contest. I've never done one before so it should be good fun and a bit of a learning experience.

So here's the deal:

Create an image using at least 1 of my free stuff items. 3 winners will win mordikar's personal scimitar prop. This is the scimitar held by the elf in the white scalemail in this image:

(yes that's the scimitar i have been asked for several times and won't give to anyone.... until now.)

I will open a thread called mordikar's contest on sunday april 23rd. Entrants will have untill april 30th at midnight midnight CENTRAL STANDARD TIME to post thier entries.
Any entry posted after midnight CENTRAL STANDARD TIME will not be accepted.

I will pick 1 winner, Logansfury will pick the second winner and we'll negotiate (hopefully without bloodshed) on the final winner.

This contest is not sponsered by renderosity, it's staff, or its moderators in any way, shape, or form!
(unless they come up to me and say hey we wanna sponser this and stuff.. and then i'll have to repost and eat my words.)

Logan'sfury and myself are not eligable for the contest (sorry logan bro but you are pretty much a member of Mordikar's forge now.. wouldn't be fair.)

All artists of course retain the rights to thier intellectual property and i will be using these images for nothing other than judging this contest. Winners will be announced by may 3rd.

1. 1(one) entry per person (not account).
2. No nudity
3. No commercial products.
4. Entry must include at least 1 of my free stuff items. (number of items does not = win!)

Questions and answers: I know there will be many so lets get some of them out of the way now.... Q) Is this scimitar a commercial item? A) No Q) Why would i enter a contest for a free stuff item i can just download A1) because it's not a free stuff item it's a prop that isn't available ANYWHERE. at the end of this contest there will be 4 copies ... including mine. A2)Because it'll be fun! Q) I paid good money for my commercial products why can't I use them!? A1) Because I said no... A2) I feel that limiting the contest to freestuff and things you make will level the playing field. This means it's part image contest, part scavenger hunt. Everyone has access to all the free stuff it's a matter of what you can find to use and how you use it. Q) You're not a merchant, you aren't trying to sell stuff, why are you holding a cotest? A1) I like Pie ... especially Lemon cream... A2) I think it'll be fun.
