I would looove and I do mean love to see a program that zaps files from poser. You know so you could delete and item without hunting and pecking for each and every pz2, cr2,ext you know what I mean?

I am likely going to uninstall and reinstall poser yet again for this very reason (no ones fault but my own lol) I found I didn't organize my runtimes good enough still yet sooooo this just stinks!

If anyone out there can find a way to create a program that would delete all the character, object, texture, poses and everything that goes together as one I would kiss you! ;) lol well okay then I would at least buy it anyway!

Just an idea cause I don't think I can be the only one with this problem??? Right? ;) edited to say jumped the gun lol can delete just the culprit runtimes now. The real messy ones! But still it would be good I think.

The ones below will do this job. However theres a slight caveat here, nearly all of these things require you to install the poser files through the application. (Poser Products Manager certainly does) it's not a dedicated removal tool persay. Also remember some merchants use common textures across various figures, so watch what you delete. Try Poser Products Manager (from Poser pros) http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=22380 http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=21087 http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=8750

CRPro will move files and their associated parts. It's not a simple one step process, but if done right it will also warn if their are other items using that file (e.i. common textures) and if you just want to remove something completely you can move it to a temp folder then delete it.

The inherent problem with doing this automatically is that an OBJ or texture is often used by many different figures and props. Finding and deleting the components of one CR2 is easy, but trying to determine if this component is "shared" is effectively impossible. The remover would have to run through all possible disks and read all existing Poser files completely, checking to see if anyone else wants this OBJ or JPG. Then after that hours-long process was finished, you'd inevitably pop in a CD containing some figure that needed the component, which wasn't on the disk at the time when we were checking!

P3dO pro has a utility called scene manager that shows a thumbnailed list all files belonging to a Poser file: It is then easy to remove them, move them, zip them, anything elligible within an Explorer.
