Subject: How to smooth objects

Hi guys! I just wonder if there is a smoothing button/function in Vue5 to apply on imported objects; my round imported ojects are too jagged after rendering so it would be nice if I could apply some object smoothing. :-)

Regards
Atte

Well, this is quite a big problem right now in Vue. The only thing you can do is this: Select your object ( double click in the world broswer for example) In the pop up window choose a high angle for "smooth mesh" Now most of the time, it won't do much, and sometimes, it will distort the object.

You could import them into a modelling program such as Wings 3D and smooth them in that. The only problem is if they are UV mapped then the textures probably wont apply correctly and you will have to redo the mapping .

Thanks for the ideas; in the future I'll use Wings for smoothing; it does a great job. Thanks!
