I have seen this mentioned here before and agree that it looks very cool. the only drawback that I can see is under the "terms of use" near the bottom of the page. Sci-fi3d wants the user to not only give credit, but to actually do so using text on the image itself. I seldom use other artist's stuff 'cause I'm a modeler and I usually like to "roll my own", but if I do use something by another artist I am always careful to give credit where credit is due. Sci-fi3d's terms would have you putting a de facto "watermark" on your image in order to satisfy their terms of use; something that I am not willing to do.
Roll you own is what I awlays do. Otherwise you never know how much is in that.......oops.I make my own models because I don't like thinnking there were things I did nto do on this model or pic that was done by someone else.

I cheated on my metaphysics exam by looking into the soul of the
person next to me.
deadman67: the creator of the pak saved the stuff both as .lwo (Lightwave) and .obj format so it should work perfectly on B5.5 It worked fine for me together with B5 - it'll take some time to sort everything out and put them in the object directory. It's an amazing package to us who can't model and greeble a spaceship in Lightwave in a few hours but can make booleans and some Wing3D models; a big credit to Jedilaw for his generosity at scifi3d.com. :-D
I'm of two minds of this (I always keep a spare..;) on the one hand, it's interesting, but on the other hand, I don't want to inadvertently copy something and get in legal trouble (budding musicians, ever wonder why your tapes/discs never get listened to? same reason)I'll work on me own greebles, but still, good spotting..;)
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

I do not credit others on the face of my work. That implies it is their work as well. If I use something of theirs I will always credit it in the associated text. Demanding on image credit is TOO much - especially if it is only a minor aspect of the overall scene (I do not think this is Jedilaw's demands but the site's general policy!)
Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!

Hi guys! I don't know if you already discovered this cool nurnie-set at www.scifi3d.com (you must sign up first); if not then take a look. (the creator's name is "Jedilaw") I'm too busy now so I couldn't test it in action with some Wing models but I'm going to use it a.s.a.p. Regards Atte
