Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)
That depends a little if you want to keep it Poser 6 only. It's REALLY easy to create injectable PMD morphs. But alas, they only work in Poser 6. But since Miki also, at least officially, is Poser 6 only... Here's how:
And that's it

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
Miki is not A Daz unimesh figure, being an eFrontier product. Any INJ pose files that you see for Miki are actually mislabeled MOR pose files. Keep in mind that Miki is a Poser 6 figure, and while the figure can be made to work in earlier versions of Poser, there are definite losses in function when done. Why not just apply the morph targets manually? Has the Poser community become so dependent on pose files (MATs, INJ, MOR, etc) that we can no longer do anything manually? I can't help but laugh sadly when I see people create commercial Poser 4 stuff for her. But I won't dwell on why some people resist upgrading to the current version. That has already been beaten like a dead horse.
Miki is not A Daz unimesh figure, being an eFrontier product. Any INJ pose files that you see for Miki are actually mislabeled MOR pose files.< You can make injection morphs for ANY figure. I personally made some for NEAena, which is a reworked Posette >Keep in mind that Miki is a Poser 6 figure, and while the figure can be made to work in earlier versions of Poser, there are definite losses in function when done.< Sorry, not true. When you resave MIKIs cr2 with external morphs DISABLED (Something I strongly recommend anyway to any P6 user), she works fine in PP and P5 without any loss of function, besides the face room. (Which doesnt work well anyway) >Why not just apply the morph targets manually? Has the Poser community become so dependent on pose files (MATs, INJ, MOR, etc) that we can no longer do anything manually?< Why should they ? I mean, "I" have no problem to apply a morph target the good old fashioned way with an object file, but people expect convenient Mat/Mor and Inj files these days, even for freebies. >I can't help but laugh sadly when I see people create commercial Poser 4 stuff for her. But I won't dwell on why some people resist upgrading to the current version. That has already been beaten like a dead horse.< I still use ProPack 99% of the time because morph and magnet dials are BROKEN in Poser5 and Poser6, so they are unusable to me for serious character creation. I also like the Poser 4 renderer much better because its crisper and WAY, WAY faster than Firefly. And ProPack will run better on an older computer than Poser 6 does. Some people with fixed income just dont feel like buying a new machine each year just because their ego tells them they have to try to compete with the professional cgi-artists. So as long as the P4 products sell in large enough numbers to be profitable, why should a merchant invest the time and money to "upgrade" ?
Ok, for this to work you must have EXTERNAL MORPHS DISABLED in Poser 6. Safe your MIKI with the new headmorph set to "1" to your figure library as a new cr2. Download the blank "Headonly.pz2" HERE: http://s46.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1AIEOBOHEXQXJ2PQY6H85KQASP Then download MorphManager HERE: http://www.morphography.uk.vu/dlutility.html Install MorphManager and load the Headonly.pz2 on the right side. (MorphManager searches by default for cr2s, so make sure you select pz2s) Load the cr2 of your morphed MIKI on the left side. Click on the + sign next to MIKIs head and search for your headmorph. Right click on it and copy your head morph from the MIKI.cr2 over to the HeadOnly.pz2 Now right click on the new morph (Not on "head") in the Headonly.pz2 and choose "properties" from the popup window. Another window opens, and now right click on "targetGeomNameofyourMorph" and choose "Change Data" Replace the name of your morph with the name of one of MIKIs default morphs. Id choose "MIKIEyesDialate" for it, because that one isnt used that often anyway. MIKI has no EMPTY MORPH channels like Vicky, so your new head morph will OVERWRITE MIKIs Eyes dialate morph. Safe the Headonly.pz2 to your pose library. (Rename it to MIKINewHead or something similar) If you click on it in Poser, it will inject your headmorph into MIKIs head. This will work in all versions of Poser from P4 to P6. .

I've create a new head obj, saved as morph target, with the magnets, and i would love to create the INJ and REM option with it, but i don't know how to do... Need i another software for this? Thanks a lot for help, Pati
