The dreaded bird flu has arrived in Scotland. Here we go again. Lets hope its not foot & mouth all over again. Biggest part of the problem (as I see it) is the media constantly shouting "DON'T PANIC....DON'T PANIC!" They love a right good doom and gloom story. I bet the little village of Cellerdyke in Fife has never seen anything like it, with reporters and news teams crawling all over the harbour, closely followed by the caring Politicians eager to make the most of some free publicity. Perhaps if the media cooled off a bit, the impact would be minimised and these poultry farms could get back to normal quicker. No chance....there's papers to be sold.......PANIC STATIONS....RED ALERT.....PANIC STATIONS...RED ALERT!!!!!!! I hope you have good weekend and eat lots of eggs and chickens for Easter!

'tis a fowl business indeed ;)

And every one said, 'If we only live,
We too will go to sea in a Sieve,---
To the hills of the Chankly Bore!'
Far and few, far and few, Are the lands where the Jumblies live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to sea in a Sieve.
