Does anyone know what colour the background in RR is? If ,for example, I wanted to frame a picture, but have the frame the same colour as the gallery background so that in effect the frame would be invisible, what colour would I need to set the frame at? Either in RBG or HSB. I think I remember this being asked many moons ago on the forum.

Unless I'm wrong, the default light blue/grey colour is #F1F0EE.
In RGB that would be 241,240,238.

Hex #F1F0EE.
is:

Red:241

Green:240

Blue:238

C4%

M3%

Y4%

K0%

Although some members use different colour themes so the frame wouldn’t be invisible to everyone.

For future reference:

If you take a screen grab and past it into your photo editing prog (PS/PSP etc) and use the colour picker tool on the section of the page you want to know the colour of, and then open the colour prefs it will tell you the exact colour values, Hex #/RGB,CMYK etc

I use black as a background in the gallery. So there goes your invisible border ;)

That is th right colours of default.
One thing I used to do was put a thin black line around a white frame when the default was white.
Add a drop shadow, and you will definitely see that is in  a white border.

Anthony ..are you happy with the default colours.
There is threads with CSS codes to change to your preference.
