start the cloth at a slight angle. Make sure collisions are on for teh cloth and you should get a nice 'flow' to the ground.

I haven't really done much animation, and even less with dynamic cloth, but I want to create an animation which sounds pretty simple. I would like a long thin silk strip fall, and flow smoothly to the floor.
I have tried dropping it and it doesn't flow, and adding some wind turbine things but then it shoots off screen, so I'm not overly sure what to do. any pointers would be great.
Thanks all in advance.
