Was just wondering how high could be interpreted.

Would this be high enough?

I really enjoy your "birds-eye-view" POV on this, and the portrait-style aspect ratio.  I would consider it high enough. The only thing that I might suggest is that  the canoe and occupants seem large in scale in comparison to the tipi's and the other structure. I like the mist and your terrains too.
