Hey Carlos, I worked in Alentejo for a month in 1982. It was in Serpa, in the Bairro de Sao Francisco (with gypsies). I bought some Alentejanos there (leather boots) that I wore for a couple of years... I loved the place (very sunny!).

b! :D.. hey.. what a great response! great to see..
from beautiful stained glass to geometrically strong.. haunting to humorous.. :D
windows can be so intriguing, soulful, adding a natural dimension to an otherwise 2D image

& then.. Windows - The colorful clown suit for DOS :0)))))

Simon_P ( ) posted Thu, 18 May 2006 at 7:50 PM

While were on the subject of Windows and DOS my favourite error message of all time is: “Keyboard missing please press F1 to continue” (um ok How?)

He he sorry OT

Well if FuzzyShadows’ can think outside the box (and it did make me laugh), so can I. This is the side window on my newly built PC.

Thanks for the inspiration Fuzzy!

OT reply to girsempa :

Did you know that Serpa's cheese is one the best in Portugal and ... Europe ?
Did you enjoy the red wine ? It is the one I usually drink although I live in the North of Portugal now.
My photo was taken near Évora not far from Serpa.
The light at Alentejo is unique in Portugal. From sunrise to sunset it 'furnishes' an unique colour palette. I took there some of my best photos ever.

There are winderful images here! Some soft and enticing and others quite powerful.

This is somewhat inbetween..a Dale Chaluly glass exhibit from the only viewpoint at the time..outside the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio, USA.  Taken sometime last year.

Tom, your 'window photo' is amazing as it is a beautiful frame itself ! 👍
This Simone has excellent contributions ... so far ...

Cindy, yeppie, windows into life.  Sometimes the curtains are pulled and we only see the frame.

This is a good Simone.    Tom.
