Content Advisory! This message contains profanity

I followed the link that was posted here to get a free USB Hard Drive from Microsucks!

I applied and received numerous e-mail assuring me that I would get one.

After waiting the required 8 weeks; I now received an e-mail telling me they ran out.

Gee! f----d over by Microsucks again! Who'da thunk!

Well now they've got your address and phone number - prepare for the onslot of advertisers mailing and phoning you as well as spam. I'd also delete any links to their site and run every av tool you've got. hope yor firewall is good too. Sorry to hear it was a rip.

I was being facicious(spelling?)!

It was a genuine offer from Microsoft! In fact you had to run a program verifying that your copy of Windows was genuine (and legal)!

When a company repeatedly assures you that you will get something and you don't; it kinda pisses you off!

Thanks for letting me rant!

Sounds like Microdick is guilty of perpretrating an interstate (or if you are outside the US an international) fraud scheme over the internet.  I would bet that some lawyer would love to bite into this little tidbit and file a class action lawsuit on behalf of all the people Microdick promised a USB drive to and never got one.   The news media loves to hear about this kind of stuff also.  If I were you I would call Microdick's attention to what I stated about the interstate fraud scheme over the internet and threaten to get the FBI  and news media involved.  If you are not in the US that is OK because the FBI and Microdick are.  TMGraphics is right.  Bill Gates is the richest man in the whole world.   There is no way he should have run out.   Call them on this!  Please do not take this lying down.

I have yet to see any convincing proof that this was a real genuine m$ offer. I still doubt its even m$ who's behind this scam. If stuff like this was true i'd have 50 spare vaio laptops stacked in the corner of my office and I'd be flying to the bahama's for free with 50 of my friends taking enough free viagra samples with us to spend the entire 3 weeks vacation not paying a dime for hotelrooms 'cuz the old hotel owner would be more then happy to take the viagra as payment 😉
