Hiya bruno021,
Whilst clearing out pending tutorials, I took the opportunity to peruse the whole catagory, and found a fair number of post work re: hair there in various sections. I would recommend checking out the Poser and Photoshop areas.

The hair doesn't have to look horrible. I've been working on getting both the object based hair andt the strand based hair to come out in Vue. Playing with the highlight, transparency and bump for object based will help a lot. With the stand based so far (I've only had Vue approximately a month, so bare with me) I've found that smoothing out the bump and removing the bump function helps as well as using Photoshop's gausian blur a couple times on the hair finishes it off pretty well. The image is my first attempt at stand based hair in Vue. The second is object based.

I hope these come up for you ... at least it's an example of what I'm working on. I want to master the hair in Vue. Any one else have ideas on how to fix the stand hair I'd appreciate it.

I've written a number of tutorials about Poser hair and how to create strand based hair in Poser 5 and 6. Also a while ago I wrote a tutorial on bringing Poser hair into Vue. The URL is below. Recently I updated it, and I will publish in my column on the Front Page in the next few weeks. It adds a few more areas in Vue to manipulate, but I think the one below might be useful.Paula

Poser hair props can look terrible in Vue, and so far, I haven't been very succesful at postwork. How do you do it?
Your help appreciated.
Thanks.
