Subject: How to delete multiple morph channels at once?

I just realized that by deleting unused morph channels (in the dial windows) you can shrink the file size down a lot.

For instance, there are 30~50 PBMCC channels and PBMDC channels in (almost) each of M3's head and body parts that are unsued in most 3rd party characters .

But How do I delete multiple morph channels at once?

I control-clicked/selected 30 morph channels at once, but when I tried to delet them, it became that only one morph channel was selected.

There's probably a Python script somewhere that can do so, but I don't know where. I usually use CR2Builder to edit CR2s, and you can select multiple morph channels to delete (just be careful when using it until you become more experienced. Always work with a copy of the file you are editing in case something goes wrong.).

I'm working on a script that will consolidate multiple morphs into one and delete unnecessary morphs from the character. It will work on all figures, not only the ones with morph injection channels, and it'll be able to create a .cr2, matching INJ/REM poses, and it can also be run on a .pz3, shrinking down the disk and memory footprint without touching the Poser libraries.

The application logic is just about finished, currently I'm writing the user interfaces. It'll come in P6 dialog style (both PC and Mac) and Tkinter dialog style (P5 on PC). Poser Pro Pack will not be supported due to the very limited Python possibilities in that version. P5 for Mac OSX will not be supported, due to the fact that Tkinter is broken on Mac OSX. P5 on Mac OS 9 (if it runs at all, I don't have a Mac) should work fine.

In the meantime, CR2Builder is a good tool. It can read all uncompressed Poser files. Two warnings: CR2Builder does not have Undo functionality, so save early and save often. And CR2Builder can't handle files that have dynamic cloth/dynamic hair information. Even if you delete all cloth/hair simulations from a PZ3, Poser will leave some traces in the file which will cause CR2Builder to stop loading the file after the first dynamic cloth/hair information. It will not display an error message and you'll be able to work with the file normally. But when you save the file, all info after the first dynamic cloth/hair entry will be lost!

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

The Poser Tool Box already has this feature.
