Subject: its happening again :(

Well it seems like with the changing over the galleries to PHP the freeze ups I was experiencing before have returned. ( I use firefox) so I guess I'll be back after the 13th when hopefully whatever they are doing will be done. I just can stand surfing the forum and having to ctl alt del every 4 or 5 times. And yeah, I'm using ie right now to type this but its not my preferred browser. So lets hope they get this fixed soon.

Are you using FF 1.5.0.4? Working ok for me (XP pro SP1)

I'm using 1.5.0.4 as well and it works fine for me.  (SP2 here) (also works in 64 bit)

What extensions do you have installed?  I've found that "flashblock" can cause firefox to hang at strange moments, so I had to uninstall that one.  Try running it without any extensions and see if you have the same problems.

I don't have any extensions in mine.

I'm not sure if the galleries and the forums are even on the same server, whether in php or the old ez.

running version 1.0.3   :blushing:

I'm notoriously bad at updating stuff.

Have to go to work right now, will check on other things later.

Seems a strange coincidence that it only happened during the first change over then it didn't happen again till just the other day. Ah well who knows.

I use IE and had to log in yesterday. I'm sure I clicked "Remember Me". Today I had to log back in again. I've also been in the forums a couple of times this week and gone to galleries and suddenly become a guest.

I use FF1.5.0.4 at home, no problems, at work I use IE and found today I have to keep logging into the forums (I'd guess the password hand off to the excalibur server is failing) and in the gallery all the hit counts have disappeared (first noticed that a few days ago)....
