Unfortunately i don't think you can recover those.
I think you should click on the option "generate temporary frame flies" in the HyperVue window (lower left). Then the cows create frames that you can read - when i remember it right.

I was rendering a 14 second long animation over the weekend, using Hypervue on 5 rendercows. I checked it last night ( in my works office) and all was going well. I expected it to have finished by this morning, as it only had 1hr 55mins to go last night.
In morning the message 'Vue 5 has unexpectedly QUIT' did not inspire me much.
I have a folder on my desktop with 230 frames in '.tmp' file format - are these unrecoverable?
Or is there a way?
