Subject: searching for a brassere

Does anybody know of any bras for V3 that look like their from the 1950's?  Let's say more industrial looking then we have today.

This is for commercial use, so any pay items are perfect.

Thanks,
Doug

Something like this one?   I'm not doing anything right now so I'll browse some sites and stores and see if I can find something.  If I can, I'll post back with links.

I found this at RDNA.  It's not really an under garment, but if you can't find anything better, you might be able to do some post work on it.  It's for Aiko, but you should be able to use the dials and magnets or the tailor, or wardrobe wizard to resize it.

I'll look around for another 10 minutes or so and then I'm heading to bed. If you haven't found something by the time I wake up I'll look around a little more for you.

Sorry, I struck out :(  I found lots of bras, but nothing remotely "retro" in nature.  The closest I managed was the link from RDNA, but that will need post work.

Maybe try posting in the 3D Modelling forum and see if someone there could make you one.  I'm not a modeller, but it shouldn't be too difficult for someone who knows what they're doing.  Even if it's just a prop you could use magnets to get it to fit a morphed up figure.

I remember seeing stuff from a Russian guy that used some transmapped stuff, such as the P4 Halter top, as a base. Nestorenko? Trouble is that the underlying shape of most Poser figures in wrong for the 1950s.

thanks everybody. I may have to just post in the bra for now.  Looks like a hole in the marketplace if someone wanted to jump on it.   Maybe I'll see if I can find a swimsuit I can map too.

Thanks again!

Mindvision over at RDNA has a Bustier for V3 that would probably suit your needs if you changed the texture and did a little transmapping. It's called V3 Bustier and Panties

The Victoria 3 Sleveless Morphing Body Shirt from DAZ would also work but you might need to customize the texture.

Another option would be the P4 Leotard, but you would need to refit it to V3 and create a texture and transmap.

Also hongyu has a multitude of lingerie that could be used right here in the marketplace.

Hope they help.

Edited to add a link to hongyu's store.

It's all fun and games...

I looked and some of those would definitly work for a 50's style with a change of texture and a transmap.

This was asked for also by Mungopark in the attached thread. I had it bookmarked to see if any response came about. You may even want to contact him and find out if he found anything....
