I love the new look, but I would like to be able to reply back to the people who make comments in my gallery and be able to thank them...If that makes any since?

Yes would be good option! Often I feel I want to thank people to make very encouraging comments. I need them badly..haha   I use to send thax to them on IM!

Dynazty, I am in there with Tunde...use IM for a comment back.  Often, if time permits, I will go take a look at the commentators gallery when these are folks I don't know, or someone I do know and haven't viewed their gallery recently.  

One good thing about the "recent views" on personal page, this gives memories a chance to relax and it is easy to revisit an image and comment  or IM as desired.

I generally use the IM.  To get a "thread" going on a gallery comment section could be too much, IMO.             Peace and JOY...TomDart.

Email or IM is about the only way.
I guess you  were thining of a mass IM option. I have seen this in other places, but it requires a program to run .

Not sure I understand the problem. It's still possible to post your own comment in response if that's the appropriate option, and the "profile" link on the individual comment leads you straight into IM mode for a private response.

I thought that was going to be possible when this was complete..

OK, did a quick check...I was able to comment on my own image...

If I remember..it's limited to one response by the person who posted it..
