I wondered if there were any tips and tricks to getting started here? I tried imnporting a poser .pz3 and it came in as an object in the texture at least. No detail or clothing was included. I tried to apply texture to the figure at random and always got this problem...the forearms were semi transparent and there was texture there only!!! I am stumped. I found several tool options and have the size render and other things set ok, but I am having a time getting some of the other basics fixed. I did not see a solution to my problem in the help files. Anyone know why it is doing this?
Lastly, I notice how simuliar in a way this is to Bryce...I need some more presets, any good places to snag some around? ThanX!!!

Can't help with the aposer problems but I can offer advice on presets...make some of your own. There's the BackRoom for starters, but if you would like to browse the whole wack of them and pick one that inspires you, go to Tutorials at the top of the page and select Vue and there you are...look for tutes on functions and such as that's what seems to control the procedurals that are used to make the presets...Hope this helps...

What version of Vue5 Trial is available for download? I wonder if it is up to date, the latest version is 5.10, but 5.09 works very well too.

The pz3 you were importing had cloths in Poser? I don't have this problem, the pz3 import ok. Of course some changes in the material editor are needed ( mostly to replace Poser black highlights with lighter coloured highlights.)

Follow Bobbystahr's advice: the backroom is the best place to get you started.

All of them! I took off Vue5Esprit and tried Vue5EspritPro. It isn't fully functional (*L:OL! Neither am I right now!) So it is avaiable thru e_on here...

You have to register first to get your key before it lets you download!!! It was really frustrating until I figured that out! You can download Infinite too...but all are only marginally functioning!

Ariana, the trials are fully functionning, but for a limited time only, and renders and animations are restricted in size and duration.

Hey Bruno...sorry to burst your bibble, but they aren't! You can't do the picture backgrounds and they have several other restrictions. Please go back and read as well as download them yourself to see.

The Pro Studio Trial Version is fully functional, aside from the following limitations:

  • Saving is disabled (scenes, plants, objects, ...),
  • Render resolution is limited to 640x480,
  • Animation length is limited to 5 seconds,
  • Limited content (sample materials, atmospheres, plants...),
  • No object or scenes are included,
  • Terrain Export is disabled.
  • HyperVue Network rendering is disabled.

The Trial Version cannot be used for commercial work. Once registered, the Trial Version will work for 60 days.

The Vue 5 Trial Version is fully functional, aside from the following limitations:

  • Render resolution is limited to 640x480,
  • Animation length is limited to 5 seconds,

And so on..part of the reason I took it off. If you can't add the atmospheres to the pic and see the result why bother.
I wouldn't post false info.

Well, both come with basic libraries of atmospheres, plants, materials & objects, and you can work with them just like with the regular version, except for the limitations you listed above.

But anyway, I've read in another thread that you went for the best: Infinite! So welcome to Vue!

CrimsonMoon.....Well as a dude who's too poor to afford a complete version, I have demo'd all the ver.'s up to and incliding V5I and found them all to have all the basics that the full ver. has but fewer in terms of pre sets and the render size limit is 640x480 as advertised, but in fact I could do anything a full ver can including working in the Advanced Materials Editor.

"If you can't add the atmospheres to the pic and see the result why bother."

Dunno 'bout this as I had no problem...at least till the demo ran outa time...sigh...back into saving up for V5I mode...LOL
