3DS geometry has been tested with MAX 7, Vue (4, 4 Pro, 5 Esprit), Bryce 5 and Cinema 4D 8. The 3DS and Bryce versions now feature sub-object window panes, allowing easier customization - with special thanks to Jason Harrison!

We had some excellent feedback on this one from Jason Harrison - the window panes are sub-objects in the 3DS and also in the Bryce version (any program that supports 3DS sub-objects automatically get this, such as Vue). So you can select the window panes object and apply any texture you want to them. They normally take a transparency map that's very murky.

Another fantastic set. I'll be picking some of these up soon, and looking forward to the Manor piece as well. Will Volume 1 follow shortly after Volume 2?

Im almost certain we will do that :-) The only reason why we started with Volume 2 is that we have Faerie Village Volume 1 going in another "thread" and I only want to look at one watermill at a time ;-)

There may be a slightly longer delay when we begin Haunted Village Manor - Im giving our artist more time to complete that because this will be the jewel of this set - the haunted house folks will want for Halloween :-) So I anticipate that Volume 2 will complete in early August, then we will have that artist work on Volume 1.

We changed our pricing a bit as well. Effectively, if you buy the set from us directly, it costs about half (ie sets at $40, individual models at $10). So its a really good deal to just pre-order the Complete set - you get eight models, one of which is only available in the Complete set.

I was really tempted to throw down the $40 for the entire set, but I didn't have that much cash, so I just picked up HV Doctor's Office and Carriage House; I might pick up the dock, too, but I don't have much use for a Lighthouse.  I wish I could afford everything :)

I just downloaded them yesterday, and haven't had time to play with these, but they look to be what I was needing for projects. Keep up the great work -- I love how this set looks so far!

And I look forward to that new content you hinted at.
