I uploaded my first object this evening and it hasn't shown up yet.

Is this normal? If so, how long does it usually take and is there a status page somewhere?

Hi,

 

Freestuff items have to be approved and this takes normally 24 to 48 hours:)

You know I don't know that answer, you might get an ebot but I'm not sure LOL. But I'll find out and let you know.

I'm sorry no I didn't in looking in the freestuff area I don't see any active, pending, any freestuff items uploaded by your member name?

OK, I just redid it and already noticed that it took me to a different page when I clicked preview. Last time it went right back to the home page, this time it took me to a screen with the thumbnail.

 

Something must have went wrong last time without me knowing it.

Oh maybe something was going on with the conversion when you tried it last. I'll get the mod to approve it and let me know if you get an "ebot" or not when its active.

  1. As soon as I know what an ebot is I'll let you know when I get one. :)

  2. Even if they can't approve it right away, can they at least check to see if it's in the que this time?

An ebot is an automated email ;)

No, freestuff doesn't send ebots out.
