Try renamong each figure. Click on the figure, and then chose 'Body' in the drop down parts menu. Then click on 'Object' in the menu bar, and chose 'Properties.' When the dialogue box opens, change the name from 'Figure 1 (or 2, or 3, or 4)' to something else: Bob, Joe, Erasmus, etc.
That way, Poser will have a means of distinguishing between figures with something more than just a single number. When each figure has a truly unique name, then Poser can distinguish between them easier, and crosstalk shouldn't be such a problem.

The standard method to overcome crosstalk is to use a NULL Figure such as the Crosstalk Fix from Nerd3D or rbtwhiz's "Millennium Null". However I am not convinced that your problem is crosstalk. Jules53757's sugestion may well work, it's not a fix for crosstalk, but like I said, I doubt this is crosstalk. If you are still having problems after trying the sugestions in this thread, could you answer the following questions. What type of pose are you applying? Is it a normal (joint rotatios) type of pose, a MOR (morph setting) pose, or a morph injection pose? In what way does the second figure go wonky? And what version of poser are you using?

I've been suppling the pointing poses (which I call FIGs) for most all of my figures, I don't know if anybody other than me uses them all that much, though.
The external name (which is what you can change in Body properties) has nothing to do with crosstalk, BTW. ;-)
Nerd'd Millennium Null has nothing to do with JCM crosstalk, which is probably your problem, either.

how do I correct crosstalk between figures? I have 2 of the same figure loaded to a scene, having applied the pose to the first figure before I added the second...then, when added the second figure and I tried to apply a pose to the it, it got wonky...is there a way to overcome this? thanks so much for any help...I tried searching the forums, but I found the search feature and results no to be as good as they were before conversion, and I came up empty handed...
