Subject: If Goldtassel can work with SWAM and Danae can work with Marforno........

....then why cant I work with Cocco?

barring the obvious answer of  "cause they rule and you suck" - im aware my contributions to the site are minimal, thanks, ya gotta start SOMEWHERE - whats the unobvious answer?

Clearly, members have teamed up to provide content here for years, and readmes crediting multiple contributors have existed for years, yet Cocco was instructed to remove the multiple credits from a pending retail item.

Ive sitemailed the heads of retail items as Martian Manhunter suggested, and Cocco has emailed the retail betatester that complained about the readme but neither of us has recieved any reply yet. To be fair, I didnt know of the situation and begin sending inquiry mails until saturday and everyone deserves a weekend break, but this is probably costing Cocco sales and I dont see the logic behind it which makes being patient about the situation feel less like a virtue and more like a pain in the ass......

There are other stores other than Renderosity you could sell at that will allow you credits in the readme.

Granted, but it remains a mystery as to why there is a problem here and both Cocco and I are really curious as to why the readme of this particular item is being singled out. Im thinking wanting an explanation isnt a very unreasonable position to be in.

One thing that comes to mind is...did Cocco give you a cut as a merchant?  That may be the problem....

But, be it as it may, Clint and Deb rarely, if ever, grace our beloved forum with their presence.  an email, IM, or even a post in the merchant's forum (if you're a merchant) will get you a much faster and more thorough answer, as, well, only one of us on this team is a store tester, and I believe she may have gone to bed for the evening.

Nope, im not getting a cut, I just did a very simple MAT pose edit for the product while it was in beta phase and im happy with my free copy of the retail ready product zip :)

Im just baffled as to why its an issue to mention that I did a contribution to the final product. Is it actually a prerequsite that I must be getting a percentage of the sales revenue to merit readme credit? I certainly didnt do enough work to warrant that but I think one sentance in the readme mentioning my MAT file isnt going off the deep end!

See, I didn't know the story, which is why I asked.
But, I still recommend taking this up with the Store Staff.  We here in the Poser forum can't really do anything :(   I wish I could do or say something to fix it, but, I have no jurisdiction :(

Thanks for the reply, with the 3 PM's collectively sent by Cocco and I, the only part of your advice not yet followed is posting in the merchant's forum, so ill do that after another day or so if the PM's sent so far dont get a response by then.

Not a problem, and good luck getting the product into the store, here or elsewhere.
