I've got problems with too many files... slowing down my Poser 5 program.

Is there a way to get my Poser 5 program to use specific runtime directories and not have so many files slowing down my program??

How do others get around this problem?

Bill

I would suggest creating  an external Runtime and moving some of your stuff into that.

If you mean slowing down when you're switching between your library folders. How about creating some categorised sub-folders, and sub-sub-folders so they are not all on the same "tree". For example, PROPS/P6 PROPS/VEHICLES/CARS etc. So Poser won't need to load tons of props each time you select PROPS. Only an idea.

I'd recommend checking out some of the Poser palette replacement software.

The one I use is the free Advanced Library for Poser.   (Windows)

I rarely touch the original Poser palette any more.
