Subject: Vue 6 Specs?

I haven't been able to find any information pertaining to system, memory or graphics card requirements for Vue 6. Has any information been released yet? I'm curious to know if my computer will run Vue 6. TIA for your help.

Sorry.  Don't think e-on has posted system requirements yet.

Nothing has been officially published yet because Vue 6 is still in Beta Testing. But I think you can safely assume that whatever version of Vue you are running now on your machine- that your current machine and OS will support that equivilent V6 version...   I wouldn't worry about it.

Vue 6 Infinite is the only version that "apparently" will be supporting the newer 64 bit OS's. But people are already running Vue 5 Infinite without any big problems on 64 bit Windows XP. I don't know what the story is for MAC's, however...

Unfortunately I am speaking from the other end of the spectrum. My graphics card doesn't support Open GL. I have some issues running 5 Infinite. Not a major problem, but I will never be able to see the vegetation to paint ecosystems as shown in the animation at Eon. I hope I'm wrong. I'd really hate to give up ecosystems. They're addictive!

Shari if you have a Sams club near you they usualy have nivida graphic cards at a very reasonale price.
Thats where I got mine. I think it was like 99 dollars and it supports open gl just fine with Vue Inf. :)

Good idea! I would make sure your current V5I is totally happy and "up-to-speed"...

I already checked into an upgrade and it's not possible for mine. It's a laptop and I can't upgrade anything. It was great when I first bought it, but I think it's time is about over. At least this time I have somewhat of an idea of what is needed for 3D. I purchased unwisely before.
