Subject: a good way to learn a little about textures

i was lucky enough to have the 3dtotal texures relating to skin bought for me by one of my kids and i have to say for those of us who haven't a clue how to make a texture, what a godsend. while they can't be sold or redistrubed except as a part of a piece of art . the way they're mde (psd files) specially for the eyes can teach a lot about making your own from scratch. i was that impressed i'asked my other kids to get me some of the other texture sets lol.
