ok with the new install of my BT dsl it gave me norton(evil program)

while I was installing it, it noted (unfortunately I had poser open at the time) that a program that posed a danger to my system was open and asked if it wanted me to close it. I didnt realize it meant POSER!

well it closed it so I was like what the heck???

I tried to restart it and nothing. the shortcut wouldnt find the exe. so I finally fixed that. great wonderful.

got the old runtimes and such going..again wonderful.

then it kept saying python could initialize......fixed that too...

but now...

it wont show any thumbnails that are rsr. none...and -that- I dont know how to fix...

 

how can I fix this? it is driving me nuts

try:
Right click the file in Windows Explorer and select "Open With". From the offered list select Poser. If Poser is not in the list there will be an option to browse for it.

ok I think it is a pmd file? or the cr2..ACK something is not allowing the thumbnail to show and i cant figure it out ..@.@!

didnt...work...

 

I dont understand it ..it is showing some pmd files(I guess that is the one that is messing up) and not others...I just..>.<

Maybe it is easiest to make a copy of your Prefs folder, then reinstall Poser, apply service packs, and copy the Prefs folder back. And hes, Norton Internet Security is a real pain.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

I couldnt get it to show the bloody thumbs. norton is just evil. it is so touchy. it messed up my IE, it messed up messanger.......>.< it is one evil program

pets poser it is back to normal....lol
