I am thinking about sidegrading from Vue 5 Esprit to Vue 5 Infinate before the free upgrade to 6 expires. Do I need to have my Vue 5 Esprit disk and or Serial Number to install Vue 5 Infinate Side grade? I was thinking maybe I could Ebay the Esprit package and license to recover some costs after I recieve the Infinate package. How do the sidegrades or upgrades physically work? Thanks in advance.

Since you still need the original serial number to install the upgrade, the license does not allow you to sell your previous copy as it would allow someone else to use the same serial number to upgrade of sidegrade again.

Serial numbers are part of your own upgrade path - you would have to sell all of them (all of your versions) to officially transfer licenses to someone else.
