Since you don't show the template or your material room, I'm going to take a wild guess and say you got the wrong template?
Why don't you just go into the textures/Poser 6 Textures/Jessi directory and make a copy of her existing Jessi_Body.jpg file for you to use as a template. Then just color over that?
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
Are you sure you have the correct template? Did you compare it to the default Jessi texture image? Different characters often have very different meshes and templates, so that is the first thing I would check. If it's the right template, make sure it is rotated correctly -- try rotating by 90 degrees CW or CCW to see if that helps.

hi all!
i'm embarassed to ask but it's something i need and it isn't happening yet. basically i'm going to give jessi a custom body texture, so to map out a few key areas of interest (hmmm, i wonder where those would be?) i drew ontop of a body template (i got from someone at this site, an oft-asked question) and went to apply the texture map and it came out all jumbled onto jessi...was not mapping properly at all. so what gives? i saw the original texture was set to tile even though it wasn't so i set mine that way. ???
this has got to be something so basically stupid and so that's why i dreaded posting. :p
