Hi there!

We use them that often, but....

If i had made my own Character-Morph + Bodytextures....

how do i have to pack this stuff, that others can UN-pack it, like all the bought Content goes automatically into the right folders????

Is there somewhere a Tutorial for???

Would be very, very nice if someone has a hint!

Cause i think i did some nice pieces.... i just don`t KNOW how to pack this!

Thanx, Ray

don't use rar for small, non-segmented files. zip is the standard here.

Most all products are .ZIP files.

WinRar will do anything, like make .ZIPs instead of .Rars  WinRar also has a bunch of other supported formats, even .ISO(CD/DVD).  WinRar was the first to be able to split compressed files into segemnts.  And now WinRara can open multiple archives!

Site Admin Online Now!

If you're going to sell the items here, Renderosity marketplace requires that they be packaged in zips,so use that instead of rar.

and i like to do a little tip here too..

the first folder IN the zip should be runtime ... sometimes we get zip's :

Myguns/myguns/runtime/libraries/props....  this kind of zip we have to install/unzip manualy :{

Myguns/runtime/libraries/props we can auto unzip ..much better for the nerve's ;}

k..works for me. I got to the point I just did them manually, unless they were 'exe's..;) then done into a c:temp directory, and just slice and dice out of there.

Last I heard, Macs had about 5% of the market, the rest divvied up by Windows and Linux. Zip works. But hey, you can always make both..

I always move my current freebie runtime to the root directory and zip from there, then move it and the new zip file back to the freebie directory. That way the top directory in the zip is always Runtime.
