Dunno if the word is out yet but...

Content Paradise has extended the download of its free poser 5 until Sept 8th.

I have gotten as far as downloading it into 'My stuff' there and then when I try to download it on to my computer it still tells me to wait a 'couple of hours'. They did not specify which hours of which day of which year of which century though!!! :o(

Is everyone else still in the same boat?

Sigh, I guess it gives me time to sort out my messy folders before creating a new batch of mayhem.

Will my character morphs etc from D/S export into Poser 5 by the way?

The download is there indefinately once you've made your purchase and gotten the link. Now that they've extended the sale that just means 4 more days of sluggish HELL for downloaders!

In another thread krazik from CP said the dowmloads would be available until 2099! They've extended the time so more people can take advantage and purchase Poser5 not just download it. Pity CPhas been so slow since the offer started. I was looking farward to things getting back to normal.

PS if anyone hasn't bothered taking up the offer because they already have Poser5. They give away a 10% off voucher with the invoice. If you were going to buy something else at CP it could be worth it.

Yep! Slow downloads continuing grrrrr...yawn. Want a cuppa, picnic lunch and trip around the globe while we wait...and wait...

surely some bright spark there could see that it would cause a log jam having it for only a few bleep...bleep days in the first place!!!

I already have P5 but it's nice to have an alternative copy should I decide to get another machine ............... then again, I think I may be getting my telegraph from our Monarch (whomever that may be at the time) when I'm able to d/l P5 from My Stuff

Does anyone else have the problem of downloads quitting before they're completed? I keep getting kicked off the server - one time at 163MB, another time at 25MB, another time at 110MB etc ...

Has anyone managed to get this working with a download manager? If so, which one?

Problem is that 19 out of 20 attempts return a "Sorry, download limit reached" screen.

I already have p5, but somebody tell 'em to put it on bitTorrent to speed things up a bit. I assume P6 is already there.

Bloody great! I've had P5 sitting in my stuff since this whole thing began hoping that by the middle of this week all the server slow downs would be over. All well at least it's in my stuff safe and sound for now. I am a very patient person....well with somethings at least. smiles
