In the material room of Poser there is a check box for the background that says something like autofit, you need to check that.
Sorry about not being more specific, I don't have Poser infront of me so I can't look up what the exact wording is. I do know this drove me nuts for like months before I found a theard here that detailed it.
It IS a pain. Go to Material room, Advanced tab.
Select Background. Look for the lil check box that says Autofit and click it.
And then pray is religious, because THAT does not always work. I do that all the time and still end up having to export as a PNG and put the BG in postwork, sometimes. There are probably several things that cause the lateral shrinkage during renders, but I only kno a couple.
The ones I know of will be fixed by Autofit.

Hi there!
A weird problem i can`t fix!
My Document Window Size is 640 high + 480 wide.
The Camera Focal length is 35 mm
The imported Backgroundimage is also 640 x 480
In the Preview it looks like THIS:
It FITS!
Now....when i render.... it looks like THIS:
Question to ya all: WHY is this so, and what should i do to fix this???
