Subject: Can't access tutorials: Form validation error

WilberPost ( ) posted Fri, 15 September 2006 at 3:03 PM · edited Tue, 14 January 2025 at 11:06 PM

I've been trying to access the Renderosity online tutorials all week. Unfortunately, whenever I click on a tutorial link, a new browser window opens prompting me to re-enter my username and password. When I do, it gives me this error:

Form validation error

Oops! That username/password is incorrect, check for typos, and make sure your Caps lock key is turned off.

I contacted the Renderosity Admin via e-mail on Wednesday; they acknowledged there was a problem and said that it would be fixed by Thursday morning, 9/14, however it's now Friday afternoon and still no access to the tutorials.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Thanks.

That's weird.

When I go to the tutorials section from here, everything works as it should. I use IE6/WinXP SP2, latest updates.

What browser are you using?

Wilberpost,

The programmers are working on this but I don't think they have completed the issue for you yet. I have contacted them to find out where they stand on your problem.

Please give me time to hear back from them and I'll email you to let you know.

Thanks

Thank you for the info, StacyG. I don't mean to be a pest, it's just that I need all the tutorial help I can get. ;)

Version MIE 6.0.2900.xpsp_sp2_gdr... My browser of choice is FireFox, but I can't log into Renderosity using FireFox.

Wilber,

The problem for you is definitely something on our end that the programmers have to fix so although it works for most members there are a few (you being one of them unfortunately) that registered on our site right when we were converting our profiles and new member sign up piece over to the PHP software platform so its not the browser that is causing you the issue.

I'll alert you as soon as I hear from them.

Thank you for your patience.

I trust tha the Bondware Web Design guys are still laboring (hard) over this issue, but until it is fixed I've found a workaround: I simply created a new Renderosity account and use it only when I need to access the tutorials. For what it's worth.

Yes they have ran into something in trying to resolve this that is going to take  some discussion and time. Sorry

Glad you can get in under the other account

The tutorials should be moving over to this side next week..
