Ryan, i think this is only possible with Mac Host - when i remember it right, only there it is possible to switch on and off Cows while the rendering is happening. What then happens when you switch off one client or when it crashes i would try out only after the deadline when it is not dangerous anymore. Good luck for your project btw.

What happens if you remove a rendercow DURING network rendering? The host comp is done (and idiotically is trying to render a band already rendered....WASTING ram) and I want to remove it, but am on such a tight deadline that I don't want to risk that getting rid of the cow will cause a crash or my bands to not be rendered.
Anyone know?
