This MAy have been addressed, but I don't have time to sift through the hundreds of threads, so please bear with me.  I own Poser 6, which I had on my notebook for a while and then took it off and now have recently re-installed it.  That wasn't a problem.  The problem lies with the display of the settings text in the material room.  You know, the long list you work through to adjust highlights, materials, lighting, etc.?  The text is really wierd looking, kinda like out of focus.  Now, since I had this installed before, I didn't have the issue then.  Also, in the pose room (or the main window for working in), if I move my cursor to different parts of the screen, the working window develops a strange "block void".  That isn't a concern now since I changed my software renderer from openGL to sree3d engine.  Everythign on my machine has been the same since I bought it in terms of hardware and as I said before, Poser worked fine.  Now, one thing I didn't do, and I wonder if I should but don't know how to find it, is when after I finished installation, there was a checkbox to open my display/video settings.  i left things the way they were and didn't go through that.  One last thing, that could be the culprit is the updates or service releases.  The version I have of Poser (core) is 6.02, but I went ahead, as a typical habit, and d'loaded the updates from Efrontier and installed them.  Anyone know if maybe this has caused the hickups?

Since I recently installed Poser, I haven't filled it up with content yet, so if it is recommended to uninstall and then reinstall, I can do so, if this will resolve the strange things happening.
