Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 06 7:01 am)
Ok to start the Ultimate hair is the one by Hmann right?
If so, it's not dynamic so you don't need to use the animation tool to set it and you don't need all the collision stuff going on. It's a character with morph dials!
Ultimate hair comes with set up files to easily set the way the hair flows initially which is great, if you want to pose it differently then you need to use the pose dials of the parts of the hair you want to change!
Injustice will be avenged.

I am using Poser 5 and the Ultimate Hair from DAZ3D. I want the hair to fall realistically when the figure is lying down, but I cannot figure out how to do it.
The things I have done are.
1) Loaded the figure and the hair
2) Set Collisions On by the Document Window
3) Turned on Collision Detection for the hair and the figure.
4) Posed the figure.
My question is where do I go from here to get the hair falling correctly? I have tried setting the pose up as a frame in an animation, and then selecting Animation / Recalculate Dynamics / All Hair, but nothing happens until I move the figure at which time the program freezes indefinitely (although the processor indicates a use level of 50%).
Thanks in advance for all your help.
