If you're in the Platinum Club; Remember when you signed up and they let you download 10 products for free out of that "Platinum Bonus Pack" section?

Well, they added 175 more items to that area, and are giving all exisiting PC Members 15 more downloads for ya. (just enter code at checkout)

Choose and download soon, offer expires November 30th!

(btw, "Bryce Masters Series: Cloud City" by Orbital is in there...)

Actually the 175 extra are only there until October 31 (unless they find a workaround that restores their PC pricing to PC Club members sooner, has caused some quite heated discussions/rants in several DAZ threads).  DAZ says anyone signing up to the Platinum Club before October 31 gets the 10 PC Bonus item coupon and the 15 PC Bonus item coupon.

However it has been CLEARLY stated many times by PC administrators that ALL PCBONUS item coupons expire November 30!  All of them.  No new ones will be issued after the end of October.

But in the ArtZone Chat today, they did promise a new promotion for renewals coming very soon.

They've just fixed the pc pricing on the pc items that were added to the bonus pack.  They should be there till November 30th when you have to redeem all your bonus coupons :)

I don't normally "testify", but...

I probably have nearly $1300 worth of figure items now from DAZ. Probably have only spent $50 out of my own pocket? (that and the $7/month to belong to the PC Club, of course)

That doesn't count the ridiculous discounts I got on Carrara, Transposer and especially Hexagon. I think that was all about $100 (which includeds my $30 intro money into the PC club)

Once you can swallow the $30 to get in and the $7/month, its all (very) good. Loads of cheap and free stuff.

PC Coordinators just stated that they've fixed the PC item in Bonus Section problem.  Now you have the choice of using your coupon for the 15 and still getting any others you need for the usual $1.99 PC price!  Probably the biggest issue/complaint so far is now fixed!

And this weeks new PC Club items should be up soon.  We are promised some creepy and scarey items.  $1.99 for members, anywhere from $9.95 to $19.95 or higher for non-members.  You might pay for your signup fee just with the savings TODAY!

To dodge any of those problems, I just grabbed my 15 items, checked out with the code, and then I'll pick a couple other PC items with a seperate checkout.

My 15 items came to $137.61, but after the code...all free baby, free.

Um... when you're looking at the platinum club bonus items - does it include the items down the right hand side?  Under the words "Top Sellers"?  Or is that something different?

I ask cos the David base is in there on the right, and it's also in the stuff on the left, but some things on the right are not ( that I can find) on the left.

One other thing... am I right in thinking that you can have 25 items in your cart - (from this PC Bonus area) and if you add the 10 bonus voucher and the new 15 bonus voucher just before checkout, then you get the whole 25 items free???

Most of the items on the right are NOT included.  On the right is more of a promotions/advertising area promoting products from DAZ in general.  They are promoting the David Figure and he can easily appear both under the PC Bonus items and on the right.

Yes, you DO get 25 items as both coupons are valid.  However I would do two separate purchases, one of 10 and one of 15, and apply the appropriate coupon to each purchase.  By the talk in the forums there has been the odd glitch and it can take a few days (since this is a long weekend!) to sort it out.

Well it's taken a while, but I now have a great big goodie bag - (read warehouse full) of ... well... lots of stuff, I got some sci-fi crates that I'd been eyeing for some time, the horse, dog, cat and big cat - plus the unicorn for the horse.

I finally managed to get David - and "Charming" for him - presumably this is meant to be Prince Charming, plus Knight Errant for him... now if I can only get him up on the horse... ggg
I got Wyvern, Nebras and a Troll...

I probably - well I know I did - also managed to get some useless things (because they never tell you that you need something else first, in that list - but only in the individual view of an item).

I also managed to get Orbital's "Bryce Masters Series: Cloud City" - which pleases me very much - thanks a mill for the heads up on that AS!

I got a Fantasy Castle, a Haunted Mansion, a space suit for M3 - and I've wanted a space suit for some time...
oooh - there was a nice looking Nagarian Base and a great looking "Regenerator"

a load of fungus, some Egyptian stuff - I think that's the useless one as I need some Egyptian Rulers for that - although I might have it somewhere I'll have to look around.
What else... um, Men of Action for David, spy for Aiko - oh and some Spanish tack for the horse...

then I discovered I still had two more vouchers for a fiver each - or more properly five bucks each, so I got "Cree" for V3 that's some nice sci-fi looking clothes for Vicki and then managed to get Mimic Lite with the last one - I'm immensly chuffed.

The only tiny little niggle is that I seem to have $1.53 left and nothing I can use it on.

Oh - really and truly, that's not a complaint - honestly it isn't, I just like things to be neat and complete - it's a character fault, and I'm trying to over come it... er, I guess it's not working.

Basically, I'm very happy, I've got lots of freebies and I wasn't expecting anything.

Woooohooooo!

Come November 1 there will be another little $5 voucher appearing in your account.  $6.53 versus having to wait 4 weeks at 4-5 new PC items a week at $1.99 versus....  Choice, choice and more choice.

FranOnTheEdge ( ) posted Mon, 09 October 2006 at 11:39 AM

Ah but due to my own total mismanagement - that $1.53 is from the voucher that'll run out before November 1st.

Yeah, the free $5 voucher you get every month does not build up. Also, that cannot be applied to the PC Club $1.99 items. Makes business sense, but kinda a bummer, lol.

I have been thinking about the PC for a while now and like the deals offered. The thing for me is the exchange rate. The Kiwi $ is about half the Amer $ and as always some of us need to consider what we spend on.

When I signed up I only got a voucher for 15 items.  Where do I get the other 10 or is this done and over with.

Check your DAZ account under;

View Unused Vouchers and Gift Certificates

I remember when I got the extra 15 items, there was a code in there to enter when I checked out, to make the items free.

Thanks AgentSmith.  I checked and all I have is the PCBonus15 voucher.   Did you already have to be a member to have the other bonus 10?

AgentSmith ( ) posted Thu, 26 October 2006 at 12:10 AM

Yeah, that was the deal when I signed up, is you go to the "Platinum Bonus Pack" section, and pick out 10, and use a code to get those for free. Then that deal for the 15 extra came out recently.

Contact DAZ directly and see what's up, they're really great about clearing stuff up for members.

There are only two items in the new batch of PC bonus items that I might find useful.  Both of them are cats.   Lots of off the wall stuff in there.

FranOnTheEdge ( ) posted Tue, 31 October 2006 at 7:42 AM

The thing is you just never know what you might need, you might only collect things that you personally find interesting - only to find youself in a situation where you are asked to do a halloween poster.

And then you're hunting about frantically searching for pumpkins, witches, broomsticks, black cats, moons, haunted houses, gravestones and whatnot - none of which you had previously considered worth aquiring, but which you now need in a hurry!!

So my advice is, use your coupons to collect what you want first but fill up with anything that might come in handy one day.

You're welcome.  I eventually went back and found lots more to cram into my hard drive and runtime.    I am especially liking the Wizard Robes for M3 with the Kimono expansion pack and the M3 spacesuit which doesn't even need M3 to function.
