Subject: My first Poser animation is now on YouTube...

Please forgive the rough edges on this one... I created this back in 2002 while teaching myself to use Poser's animation tools.  I created it in Poser 4, then edited it in Adobe Premier (ver 5 or 6).  It's been sitting on a CD for ages until I finally decided to dust it off and post it online.

This took me darned near three weeks of evenings and a few long weekends to finish.  Of course, I was just learning the apps (Poser, Mimic 1, Premier) at the time.  I could do it much faster now (and hopefully better).

NOTE: Some people think you can see the creature's "pee pee" in the movie.  I think it's just clumps of fur that look like that because of the cartoon rendering style.  If you're offended or at work, you might want to look at it later (and by the way, it's not a dirty video in any way, shape or form -- I just wanted to warn you).

Pretty cool. The physics are a little odd in places, but otherwise I like it. The lighting matches the style of the rendering really well, and the character expressions work really well. Good one. 😄

I agree, the physics are somewhat ignored sometimes, lol. Can you share more recent stuff you may have?

BTW I didn't even notice the "pee pee". I was too distracted watching the whole picture ;-)

Yeah, I let them slide and fly around a bit -- as you can tell, I wasn't shooting for realism, just fun.

I really don't have anything else like this to post.  The other animations I've done are strictly boring corporate logos and stuff like that.  I have one logo with some cool particle effects in it, though, and that will probably make it to YouTube someday.

Thanks for viewing!
